Welcome back for the second term thisschool year and a special welcome to all our new students.  Last termwe finished with an excellent and well received Christmas Concert. This term we open with some good theory results.  We hope to build onthis achievement as many of our students work towards their Associated BoardPractical Examinations. 

         Last year some students sat the November Theory Examina- tions.  We would like to congratulate the students who passed:

         This term is also an important term for those students entered for the March Practical Examinations. The secret to success is commitment.  Please encourage the students to ensure they attend their classes punctually, every week and practice their exercisesand pieces everyday.  Students must also make sure they are preparedfor the sight-reading and aural tests and have rehearsals with their pianoaccompanist (where appropriate).  The monthly student concerts are animportant opportunity to practice performing examination pieces and studentsare expected both to perform in and attend these.
